Senior B's beaten by Parnells

A very disappointing start to the Senior 2 Championship, played under good conditions at Silverpark on Saturday 28th April. We started poorly in the opening half and Parnells led by 2-06 to 0-04 at the interval.

Things improved on resumption, but still fell way short of what's expected at this level; a five point return is not good enough. We had no penetration and mistakes were made at an alarming rate. Things will have to improve if we are to make any impact in the remaining matches. Fergal Armstrong, Damian Byrne, Shane Mc Nicholas, Aodan de Paor and Alan Tiernan tried hard in a game we will want to forget.
