Judes make most of extra time, as indiscipline costs Crokes dearly.

60 minutes was not enough to separate this re-run of the 2014 County Final. However, on this occasion it was Judes who made the most of extra time, finishing out winners by two points.

Crokes started brightly, scoring three points before Judes recorded their first over. By half time Crokes held a three point advantage; 0-10 to 0-07, 5 of Judes' points coming from placed balls. After the break Judes battled hard and, as the match entered injury time drew level, courtesy of another pointed free. 0-15 apiece.

Into extra time (again!), as the sun set and the moon made an appearance! Visiblity was becoming an issue... In the first period Crokes tapped over 5 points (3 from frees) and Judes benefitted from a further three points from frees. Crokes ahead 0-20 to 0-18..

Crokes failed to score during the 2nd period of extra time while, as light faded - along with Crokes' championship aspirations - Judes pointed four more times, all as a result of frees, including two during injury time right at the death.

Disappointing end to what was a promising season....
