2nd half improvement not enough to overturn deficit

Glorious evening in Silverpark, despite earlier downpours.

BSJ started brighter and Crokes were probably lucky to be only 3 points down at the short whistle - 2-07 to 1-07.

The second half brought a noticeable improvement in the home team. BSJ were restricted to a single point until the approach of injury time, while Crokes chalked up seven.   However this was not enough to secure victory and, with the benefit of four very late points, BSJ won out in the end by the narrowest of margins. Many on the sideline thought the match actually finished all square, as there was some confusion over a number of scores awarded - or not!
