Seniors bow out of Championship

Boden prove too strong - just - in Quarter Final.

The Senior A's put up a strong fight against much fancied Championship favourites Ballyboden St Endas in O'Toole Park on Sunday 13 October. Crokes opened brightly and recorded the first two scores. However, the concession of a soft goal and some excellent points from frees by Boden's Paul Ryan meant Crokes were on the backfoot for most of the match. During the final ten minutes, with the momentum very much in their favour, Crokes finally went ahead with a well worked goal scored by Rory O Carroll who had re-entered the fray following a first half injury. However, Boden immediately struck back, finishing out winners by 4 points in the end.
