Seniors lose out to Faughs in league

No joy in the rain

The Seniors took on a tough Faughs team in a Division 1 league match in a very wet and rain-swept Silverpark on Wednesday 24 April, on a night when conditions made quality hurling difficult. However, the visitors were clearly hungry for victory and showed great commitment and tenacity from the start.

Faughs were two points up at the short whistle and, with the aid of a well taken goal won out in the end by the same margin.
