Senior A Championship: Kilmacud Crokes 2.17 St Pats (P) 1.15

For the Senior As it was another return to O'Toole Park - A spirited St Pats (Palmerstown) saw a 2nd half  5 point lead unravel before As took control and secure the points (Match Report)  Also see write up(P29)  in Dundrum Gazette.

Senior B Championship: Kilmacud Crokes 2.15 St Olafs 2.9

The Senior Bs came out winners of this Senior B Championship encounter with
local rivals Naomh Olafs at rainy Silver Park on Sat May 10th on the
above score line Crokes led at half-time by 7pts to 2 and stretched
that lead with a purple patch in the first ten minutes of the second
half but slack defence brought Olafs back into it and we had a very
exciting last ten minutes.Reflecting a good mix of youth and experience
best for Crokes were Donncha o Murachu,Conor Sheehan,Cahal
Lafferty, Fergal Armstrong,Tom Clarke,Shane O'Rorke Aodhan dePaor and Damian Byrne

Junior A Championship: Trinity Gaels 2.07 Kilmacud Crokes 2.11

The Junior A team got their first win of the championship against Trinity Gaels on Saturday evening.  Late call up Cian Gormley led the defence impressively and substitute Gearoid Finnerty claims his goal was a contender for goal of the year with a 20 metre half volley to the roof of the net securing victory is a tough championship encounter.  Emergency goalie Shane Canny  deserves special credit for a composed first half performance despite his matrimonial duties the previous day.  See Photos

Junior C Championship: Kilmacud Crokes 4.18 St Judes 1.6

The Junior C team recorded their 2nd championship win of the campaign against a depleted St Judes outfit in Silverpark on Sunday morning.  Once again, captain Brian Sheehan led the way with some typical long range scores from play and frees and capped with a fine 2nd half goal. Darren McVeigh rolled back the years with a vintage 2nd half performance and special mention to Mick Garvey who manned to full back position with typical fearlessness.

Junior F Championship: Kilmacud Crokes 1.11 Na Gaeil Oga 2.7

The Junior F team had a strong panel out totalling 25 players with a good mix of youth and experience. We were drawn against an experienced and able Na Gaeil Oga team that play in the league division above our team. We led at half time by 5 points having enjoyed a strong wind advantage and Johnny mahers faultless accuracy from dead balls coupled with a poachers goal from veteran Barry Gavigan. The wind became our foe in the second half but a committed disciplined display all round meant we held our nerve and advantage. A class score from minor wing back Killian Lanigan (60 yards out, on the run, against the wind) was the clinching score that guaranteed victory. The teams 100% record for the season so far is maintained.
