South Dublin overcome Wexford and Kilkenny

 The South Dublin U15 Hurling Development squad headed north of the Liffey on 15 May to participate in a 4 county Blitz. Participating teams included North Dublin, Kilkenny and Wexford. South Dublin boasted eight Crokes players, including Cian MacGabhann, Mark O Loughlin, Ciaran McIntyre, Michael O Dwyer, Stephen Faughey, Dara O Gallchobhair, Donncha O Murchu and Odhrain O Siochru.

In their first match South Dublin took on Wexford. By half time the Dubs were leading by 2-04 to 1-02. Wexford came back strongly in the second half but Dublin held out to win by 3-06 to 2-07.

In the second match the opposition was Kilkenny. By half time the Dubs trailed by two points (1-04 to 1-06). However, Dublin took a firm hold after the restart and eventually ran out winners by 3-10 to 2-10.
