The best placed int he group went forward to play in the cup semi-final with  the second placed in each group going forward to the shield play-off.

The Cup semi final against Fourmilewater ( who beat Graige Ballycallan into  second place in Group C) was won in a convincing manner.

The final against Sarsfield (who beat Castleknock to get to the final) was a  great game of hurling with the scoreline flattering the KC side. Both sides  gave their all in what was a great game of hurling but the KC forwards  converted their chances to clinch the title.

The team captain, Patrick Gibbons accepted the Tom Maher cup on behalf of  the team. The conditions were perfect for hurling; short, lush grass and a  light breeze.
