Read about U11's day out in the Sunny southeast.
On a fine Summer's morning (23 May) the Crokes U11 Hurlers headed to the Sunny South East to Glynn Barntown GAA Club to play in this Tournament. It was a lovely morning for hurling and the boys played some great hurling and got some great scores during the day.
Our first match in the morning was against the home club, who beat us by the minimum of margins in a great game. Our second match was against Mount Leinster Rangers who we beat. After that we played O Loughlin Gaels who we also beat .This set us up to play our final match against Naas. This was a great game, which we lost narrowly with Naas scoring two goals in the last two minutes of the game. Final Score was Crokes 0-9 to Naas 4-1.
This was a great day's hurling and the boys really enjoyed the day. A great big thanks goes out to Glynn Barntown GAA Club who ran a great tournament and who put on great hospitality for all the travelling clubs.
