U11's win Cuala Tournament, 24 Sept 06

The Under 11's won two tough matches to qualify for the Final of this prestigious Tournament.

The first opponents were Cuala, the home side. The boys put up a good display to win by 2-04 to 0-01.

The second match was a very physical encounter with a tough St. Judes team. Although Crokes made hard work of it, they eventually came out worthy winners, by 2-00 to 0-00.

The two wins meant qualification for the final against Ballyboden St Enda's, who had earlier won their section. This was a brilliant final. The Crokes players fought and contested every ball. Skillful hurling saw our lads triumph by 2-04 to 1-01. This was the second win the Under 11's recorded against their Ballyboden counterparts within a week, having also beaten them in the Hermitage last week.
