U14 Hurlers league win against Vincents

Click here for match images KCrokes 6-7 St Vincents 0-2 Crokes U14 hurlers put in a strong display against St Vincents on Saturday in Silverpark. Crokes got off to a good start with Cathal Keane collecting neatly in the first few minutes and firing a splendid point over from 40yards. The Crokes boys showed some great team work and their first touch was excellent. They continued to hurl strongly with the first half wind and fired in 2 goals and 3 points with Shane Veale and Alex Considine featuring. Vincents never seemed to get going and the Crokes players kept up their momentum in the second half with Conor Gowing contributing 3 goals and 5 points.

Outstanding for Crokes were Des Dagg, Lorcan Tucker and Alex Considine with strong performances from Sean Crowe, Eamonn Allen and Shane Veale. Ryan Murphy came on for the injured Eoin Keane and full back and played excellently, while Barney Sultan and Cian O Connor also came on and contributed to a good win.
