U14Bs Pipped at the Post by Top of the Table Naomh Fionnbarra (7th May 2010)

A game of the proverbial two half’s saw a brave Crokes side pipped at the post by our visitors the combative Naomh Fionnbarra on a score-line of: K.Crokes 3-3 to Fionnbarra 2-8 (HT 2-3 to 0-1 in favour of Crokes). The boys displayed superb team ethic in upping their game for the visit of the table toppers. This league encounter was played in ideal hurling conditions in a cool and overcast Glenalbyn. Once again Pairc De Burca brought the best out in the lads. Special mention goes to the excellent full back line on the evening of Ruairi Geraghty, Matt Redmond & Shane Vallom. Also to Syed Rizvi who emptied the tank at midfield and to Niall Sweeney who showed he is back to his best and led by example with a top notch 60mins.
