West Dubs beat South Dubs!

South Dublin v West Dublin

The South Dublin U14 Development Squad travelled to Russell Park (home of St Brigids) to take on their West Dublin counterparts on Easter Monday, 13 Aibrean 2009. Given the day that was in it (the week actually!) a number of players were missing. However, there was still a good turnout for both squads. The match was played on the excellent Brigids' All weather pitch, which was just as well, given the inclement weather. West Dublin started the brighter but as the game developed the South city team came more into it. However, the West had built up too much of an early lead and stayed on top to the end. The Crokes contingent on the South Dublin squad included Dara Ó Gallchobhair, Michael O Dwyer, Donncha Ó Murchú, Cian MacGabhann, Stephen Faughey and Odhrán Ó Siochrú.
