Ladies Football Annual Fun Walk/Run

Ladies Football held their rescheduled Annual Fun Run / Walk last Saturday 17th November. We had a super turn out with over 300 young footballers and camogie players taking part in what is now one of the highlights of our year. Nathan Fox led the girls in a great warm up which meant we were all ready to go when our MC Sinead Hamil told us to go !! All the girls did their laps along with some parents, siblings and pets before our Special Guests Eabha Rutledge and Lauren Magee joined them with the Brendan Martin Cup. Eabha and Lauren gave the girls some words of wisdom before they led the girls in a flossing demo.  I am sure we beat the record currently being held so well done girls.  Many thanks to all  our athletes who took part and  to Eabha and Lauren who stayed behind to sign autographs and take photos - super role models.  Already looking forward to next year !
