U16B Fought Hard

Our U16B girls had a tough match on their hands on Sunday against Erin go Bragh. Despite Denis's tactical genius, it was more of an Arsenal scenario. Erin go Bragh had a couple of strong players, and although our girls fought really hard to silence them, they took the win from us. The girls played really well as a team, working well with each other, and on sunday they fought really hard to defend, scored two goals, and narrowly missed a third as it hit the crossbar.
Maeve did another fantastic job in goals, and some strong performances from all of our girls, especially our two Aoife's, Daly and Brady, Maria Erin O'Hurley, Orla Jordan, Sabrina, Catherine Egan and Niamh henry.
So despite the tactics and the hard play, the final score was 6-9 to 2-6, and although the girls were annoyed and upset, they can all be really proud of how they played for Crokes. You didn't let us down girls!!
