Kilmacud Crokes in collaboration with LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice took part in the Theme ‘Keep Learning’ as part of the #LidlOneGoodClub initiative.

The Under 12 team visited LauraLynn having the opportunity to meet with the LauraLynn staff and find out how LauraLynn was founded. We also got a great insight into the fantastic work LauraLynn do and the supports they provide children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The girls helped support LauraLynn for their upcoming Children’s Hospice Week campaign which runs from 15th – 21st May. The theme for Children’s Hospice Week this year is ‘Caring for the Child…Supporting the Family.’

The girls got involved in the campaign bringing joy to the LauraLynn sensory garden by creating some fantastic chalk ‘Shapes of Joy.’ The upcoming LauraLynn campaign look and feel focuses on Shapes of Joy. These simple shapes were created with small imperfections to deliver a childlike, friendly and welcoming feel. Each shape sparks a feeling of joy.
