Five And Better
On Wednesday 8th June 2011 Kilmacud Crokes had five players on the Dublin under 21 team that defeated Carlow in the quarter final of the Leinster Hurling Championship. The five in question were Bill O'Carroll, Jack Doughan, Barry Mulligan, Sean McGrath and Kevin O'Loughlin.
Not many clubs have such strong representation at this level and it was a moment to savour for the lads themselves, their families, their mentors over the years and everybody involved with hurling in the club.
As far as we can discern the other years in which the club supplied five or more championship players to Dublin were as listed as below. Corrections and/or further information gratefully received.
