Ross O'Carroll makes Dublin debut

Ross O'Carroll

Dublin played Wexford in the Championship  on Saturday evening, 9 June 2007 in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny. Of particular interest to the Kilmacud Crokes fraternity was the championship debut of Ross O'Carroll at full forward. Although the Dubs were beaten by a solitary point (2-14 to 3-10) in the last seconds of the game, Ross scored  a fine late goal to give the Dubs shortlived hope and a point late in the first half

Ross had plenty of support on the day, as the Seniors took on the Fenians at 3pm in a challenge match in Johnstown (Kilkenny), before travelling on to Nowlan Park, with a big supportting contingent.
