Miserable, rain-soaked evening in O'Toole Park, for the final group match of the Senior A Championship. However, Crokes stayed focused on the task in hand, beating Ballinteer St Johns by 26 points.

Ballinteer opened the scoring with a point from Aodhan Clabby. However, Crokes then got into their stride, raising the white flag six times - and adding a goal for good measure - before Ballinteer scored again. didn't get much better for Ballinteer before half time and they ended the half 2-09 to 0-05 in arrears.

After the break Crokes maintained their momentum, adding a further 2-09, while restricting their rivals to only 3 overs, Ballinteer's cause was not helped when they were reduced to 14 men with 10 minutes to go.

Crokes now take on Craobh Chiaráin in the Championship Quarter Final in Parnell Park on Friday evening 30 September (throw-in at 6:45pm).
