Senior A's beat Boden in AHL1

Good victory in a wintery Pairc deBúrca

The Senior A Hurlers had a good victory against local rivals Ballyboden St. Endas, in what proved to be a tough and physical AHL1  encounter in a (sometimes) wintery Páric deBúrca on Saturday 9 April.

Crokes were out of the blocks early, scoring 9 points from play, while Boden only managed 2 points in the first 16 minutes. Two more points were traded before Lorcan McMullan scored a great goal as half time approached. Another two points apiece meant Crokes led at the short whistle by 1-12 to 0-05,

In the second half Crokes scored a further 5 points to 4 by Boden, Crokes holding on to eventually win out by 11 points.
