Making up the Magnificent 7 Hurlers + 1 On/In the Ditch ... are a motley selection of legends,stalwarts and journeymen.Foireann Iomaint hopes to feature strongly over the 4 1/2 day 640km from Malin Head to Mizen Head - This is part of a club wide fund raising event for our club and Breast Cancer Ireland.

It's long way (back) to Tipperary but Richie Stakelum riding his first M2M, has the style and stamina to flourish.
Michael Culligan, another neophyte but familiar with his Clare hinterland, is expected to feature strongly and burren the peloton on corkscrew hill.
Kevin Mulligan has frequent flyer status having done M2M at least 5 times and has a series of potholes (the Mulligan Mishaps) named after him.
Another celebrated randonneur is Liam OCarroll, also Directeur Sportif for the event, who has introduced many to the best wicklow cycling trails.
Donie Dowling, the offaly-fast team leader and powerfull all-rounder will be flanked by super-domestiques Pat Halpin and Kevin Coakley who hopes to attack as the tour reaches his native Cork.
Ronan Conway, like a good wine, improves with age; as part of his weight reduction regime he is prepared to be sheared to a goatee for a modest subscription of 50 euros.
