Come.. on.. you.. Boys in Blue!!!
All Ireland Semi Final v Cork on Sunday, 11 August! TODAY!!!
Best of luck to all the Dublin Hurling panel today, especially the Crokes contingent involved! It's been a long time coming, so here's hoping.....
Every little bit of support helps, so if you've not decided to go yet, NOW's THE TIME! It looks like the Hill is heading for full capacity, following a great campaign by Friends of Dublin Hurling. See www.fodh.ie Crokes will be well represented there as well, with a huge contingent of young club stalwarts ready to give their full vocal support! Banners are at the ready too!! (see below). The Hurling Section has managed to acquire some additional tickets for the Hill, so if you've some young dubs looking to join up give Peter Walsh a shout (087 233 6475)! You may even get a discount!
The Kilmacud Crokes Blue Brigade will be meeting at Booterstwon Dart station at 1:45pm today to march on Croke Park (well, to get the Dart actually!). If you've not already made your travel plans why not meet up with the rest of the members at Booterstown and join in!! Tickets ordered via the club will also be distributed at Booterstown, so if you've still to get yours, get there early!
There will be a BBQ back in Glenalbyn after the match (starting at 7pm) and hopefully we'll be celebrating a famous victory and looking forward to another day out in Croker!!
On the GAA website there's an insightful article and interview with Kilmacud Crokes Coach and Dubs player Niall Corcoran. To read the article click HERE.
The Senior Team are playing a challenge match against Port Laoise in Silverpark this evening at 7:30pm. No doubt the lads will be down in the club afterwards to join in the festivities!
