The death has occured of Professor Aidan Moran. Aidan was a great supporter of  Kilmacud Crokes and local schools and freely gave his time for presentations in support of our Club Well Being program Crokes Talks.  The club sends its sympathies and condolences to Aidan's family and friends. MORAN - Professor Aidan Patrick Colm, (Stillorgan, Blackrock, County Dublin and University College Dublin) BA, MA, PhD (NUI), FAPS, FPsSI, FBPsS, Reg Psychol., C. Psychol., Full Professor of Cognitive Psychology, University College Dublin and Director of the Psychology Research Laboratory, UCD; Fellow of the British Psychological Society. On Monday March 16th 2020, suddenly but peacefully, in St Vincent’s Private Hospital, after a short illness, bravely borne. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Angela and adored son Kevin. He will be loved and remembered always by his brothers Ciaran and Dermot and his sister Patricia, nieces Katie and Hannah, nephew Eoin, in-laws and by the extended Moran and O’ Donoghue families, relations, colleagues, and his many friends in Ireland and abroad. Predeceased by his much loved nephew, Tristan.

Aidan’s family understands and appreciates that people would like to offer their condolences. However, due to the current situation, all funeral arrangements will be private. Family flowers only, please. A Memorial Service to celebrate Aidan’s life will take place at a later date.
