M2M 2018 Kickoff Meeting Thursday November 2nd
Thanks to all who were able to attend the meeting on the evening of November 2nd. This article with attachments serves as a summary of the discussion and next steps.
Firstly, we would like to introduce to you the members of the M2M 2018 organizing committee and outline their roles. Club Membership / Cycling Ireland Insurance
All Cyclists need to be a full member of Kilmacud Crokes for 2018. If you are not a member you can sign for annual membership/renewal in the new Year. More details will follow. This can be done online.
All Cyclists are encouraged to signup also for Cycling Ireland Membership. This membership will provide you with insurance. You need to be a member of Crokes before you do this as KC Wheelers ( name of our cycling club) affiliation to Cycling Ireland is underwritten by Kilmacud Crokes. To signup do the following.
Go to Cycling Ireland website - http://www.cyclingireland.ie/
Join up online.
Seek "Leisure Membership"
Club affiliation : Kilmacud Crokes Wheelers.
Currently €40 p.a.
Submit request and committee will approve request.
Next Steps / Key Summary Points:
Our M2M 2018 What’s App Group will be setup by Friday November 10th. If you were not in attendance at the Kickoff meeting and did not sign in and give us your mobile number, please respond to me with your mobile details and we will add them. If you don’t have What’s App installed on your phone, please set it up.
The 300 euro event signup needs to be paid by November 30th. Transfer to KC Whelers Bank Account – see details on how to do this in document “Note to Cyclists ”
In the New Year, sign up for Crokes membership if you are not a member. If you are a member, pay your renewal. Then ensure you sign-up for Cycling Ireland Membership with KC Wheelers.
