Minor B's victorious over Plunketts, 6 May 07
This was a great victory in somewhat trying circumstances, the game was tough and physical but the lads stuck by the game plan and we came out deserving winners. The game was played at championship intensity with both teams acutely aware that loosing meant championship exit.
Our backs and goalie were superb with Jack Doughan standing out; he gave an incredible display of skill and bravery. The backs were well aided by a strong midfield performance of Cillian Doherty, Matthew and Sean Murphy who replaced him just after half time. Our forwards worked well as a unit and took some tremendous scores with Chris Cunningham giving an all inspiring display.
