U8 Go Games

The heavens opened just as the first set of four matches were beginning, but by the end of the second set of matches the sun was beating down on the beaming faces of around 60 u/8 girls on the pitch in Deerpark. Our own 4 teams played superb football, displaying flawless defense skills, strong kicks and plenty of eagarness to get the ball, giving our opposing teams - 2 teams each from Round Towers Clondalkin and Naomh Olaf - a great challenge in each match.

It was great to see so many girls out, especially those who made their first holy communion the day before - now that's dedication!

Our first home go game was a learning experience for us all - setting up the four pitches in Deerpark is not a quick and easy task, but thanks to a few parents who chipped in to help, we got the games going in good time and everything ran smoothly.
