DUBLIN'S fabulous Féile is coming to town. The big wheels will roll this weekend. It promises to be a show-stopper.  Dublin officials have punched in long hours to ensure that the football festival runs like clockwork.  More than 500 players took part last year. The tournament was one of the highlights of the season.
"Last year's event was a huge success and we are very grateful that our sponsors, Everbuild, are on board again," remarked the Dublin chief, Camillus Kilpatrick.
"Having over 500 players taking part was magnificent. We thought that figure wouldn't be beaten, but to have 700 this year is remarkable."
 Ballyboden St Enda's won Division 1. They received a new trophy, named in memory of Emma Jones, the brilliant young Templeogue Synge Street footballer. It's a lovely cup, and the quality of football that was produced paid tribute to Emma.
GROUPS
There are three groups in Division 1.
Group 1 consists of Kilmacud Crokes, Foxrock Cabinteely, Castleknock and Na Fianna.
Group 2 includes Ballyboden , Foxrock Cabinteely and Skerries Harps
Group 3 includes St Peregrine's, St Brigid's and Templeogue Synge Street.
There are three divisions. Crokes, Boden, Peregrine's and Syls will host the action. Saturday sees all the group games. The semi-finals take place on Sunday morning in Silver Park on the Leopardstown Road.
The finals will take place at the Crokes' HQ, Páirc de Burca, Glenalbyn, on Sunday afternoon.
Divisions 2 and 3 also promise much. Last term St Anne's created history when they won Division 3, with St Brigid's winning Division 2 with the last kick of the game.
Sounded like fun -- and it was. A goals and points party will once again decorate Dublin's green fields.
The girls will have their Weetabix; the officials will hope the big fry-up will help them through.
But, just like kind sponsors Everbuild, the Féile is all about building bricks for the future.
And, on last year's evidence, nobody is in any doubt that the foundations of Dublin ladies football are cast in cement.
