Kilmacud Crokes Ladies Football is the One to Watch
Body
Kilmacud Crokes Ladies Footballers are heading into their busiest time of the year, looking for more success and here are a few special dates for the diary.
First up is the FBD sponsored All-Ireland Ladies U-14 7-a-side completion in Páirc De Búrca on Saturday 27th September. Teams from all over Ireland will be convening in Glenalbyn for a great days football and excitement. The tournament will be played throughout the day in Silverpark, Glenalbyn and Coláiste Eoin/Íosagáin with finals starting at 4.45pm and5.30pm in Páirc De Búrca.
The day after, Sunday 28th September, all roads lead to Croke Park where the Jackies from Dublin take on the Rebelets from Cork, the reigning All-Ireland Champions, and go head to head for the All-Ireland Senior title. These teams meet earlier in the year in the National League Final with Cork edging it in the day. It promises to be a cracking game and Crokes Ladies are well represented by Molly Lamb, Michelle Davoren and Éabha Rutledge who no doubt have and will do us proud. So get behind the Girls and send in your good luck messages, videos and well wishes to ladiesfootball@kilmacudcrokes.com or to our Facebook page. Upload your videos to YouTube and share it with us on our Facebook page.
It doesn't stop there, a week later on Sunday 5th Oct our Senior girls out in the quarter final of the Leinster Intermediate Club Championship v St. Helens from Longford at 3.30 in Páirc De Búrca.
Well done to our Junior team who won the Junior B Championship last week, after only winning the C last year, they are on a roll.
All our underage teams are currently involved in the early stages of Championship and looking likely that they will make the semi's – get out and support all these great teams they need your support.
