New Garda Vetting Process for the GAA

The GAA and Garda National Vetting Bureau have introduced a new process for Garda Vetting. 

This will involve an In Person Meeting with one of the Children’s Officers in the Club (or other Approved Person) who will validate your documents for your Vetting Application. 

Please read carefully and ensure you have the correct documents ready for your meeting with the Children’s Officer/Validator.

Re-Vetting in the GAA after 3 Years

Garda Vetting in the GAA is for a three-year period. 

If you are required to be re-vetted then you must complete a new application every three years by following the full application process.

Children’s Officers will be available to meet:
