Coláiste Iosagáin win U19 & U14 Dublin Championship Finals!

Congratulations to Ciarán O Murchú and his U14 & U19 teams at Coláiste Iosagáin who both recently won their respective Dublin championship finals. Players from Kilmacud Crokes camogie play on both panels.

U19 Camogie Panel

There are 12 girls from Kilmacud Crokes on this U19 Coláiste Iosagáin panel. On Friday, 20th April they beat Maynooth P.P  in a very tense Dublin B Championship final at Clann na nGael. The final score was Coláiste Iosagáin 4-9 to 4-2 for Maynooth. This team also won the All Ireland Colleges Division 4 Championship Final in March 2012. 

U14 Camogie Panel

There are 4 girls from Kilmacud Crokes on this U14 panel - Aoibhinn Mac Giolla Ríogh (joint captain), Caoileann Ni Cheallaigh, Maedhbh Gallagher and Maria Eirin O'Hurley. On Tuesday, 24th April 2012 they played St. Joseph's from Lucan at Clann na nGael in the Division 1A Dublin Championship final. It was a fiercely contested game by both sides with Coláiste Iosagáin scoring the much needed winning goals in the second half. The final score was Coláiste Iosagáin 4-3 to 2-3 for St. Joseph's Lucan This is the first time that Coláiste Iosagáin has won this competiton since 1992!

Well done to all the girls and to Ciarán O Murchú on these oustanding achievements in 2012.
