Féile Parade!
Kilmacud Crokes Camogie & Hurling Féile teams - Parade in Stillorgan tomorrow, Thursday 5th July 2012 at 4:45pm. Please come along!
The National Hurling and Camogie Féile takes place this week in Dublin from Thursday 5th July to Saturday 7th July. Kilmacud Crokes has two hurling teams, as well as our U14 camogie team, participating in this very prestigious competition. This is a great sporting occasion for our young people and it offers all our players the opportunity to come and see some great hurling & camogie and, of course, to support our U14 hurling and camogie teams. A few points of interest for you are:
1. Féile Parade: Our Kilmacud Crokes Hurling & Camogie Teams, together with teams from Kilkenny, Buncrana and Meath, will parade from Glenalbyn through Stillorgan to Oatlands College at 4:45pm tomorrow, Thursday. Please come along to support and cheer the teams on. The teams will then go to Croke Park from where they, and many other teams from around the country, will parade down to O'Connell Street. Both parades will be a lovely spectacle, so please come along!
2. Féile Matches: The Hurling A team will play in Silverpark on Thursday against James Stephens at 2pm, the Hurliing B team will play Buncrana at 2pm in Silverpark also. The Camogie team will play Kilmessan (Meath) on Thursday at 2pm in Glenalbyn.
On Friday, 6th July the Hurling B team and the camogie team will play their Féile matches in Silverpark, commencing at 10am - last match is at 1.30pm. The Hurling A team will play away in St. Vincents.
