Visiting teams arrive in Glenalbyn

Tea/Coffee and Sandwiches served in function room for visiting teams and mentors.

 

NB: PLEASE BRING YOUR DAUGHTER’S ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH YOU ON THIS DAY FOR THIS FIRST MATCH. IT WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU WHEN MATCHES ARE OVER.

 

Volunteers required to make sandwiches earlier on Thurs morning in club kitchen and volunteers required to serve tea and coffee.

Ingredients supplied by club.

 

2pm

Kilmacud Crokes Camogie v Kilmessan in Glenalbyn. Aidan Roantree is the Pitch Manager.

 

2-3 volunteers to umpire/linesperson

 

2pm

Kilmacud Crokes Hurling A v James Stephens in Silverpark

 

 

 

2pm

Kilmacud Crokes Hurling B v Buncrana in Silverpark

 

 

 

3pm

Visiting players will go to their host family for a meal and shower/change of clothes

 

Feed your visitors at home.

 

4.30 (ish)

All players back to the club, loaded onto the buses and head into town to assemble for the parade.

Parade begins – leaving Croke Park and marching thorugh the streets, down O Connell St. and finishing at Marlborough St.

Parents welcome to come into town and watch but will have to make their own way in. Buses will be full.

 

9pm (ish)

Loaded back onto buses and head back to club.

Met by host parents and brought home and fed for the night.

 

Feed your visitors at home if required.

 Fri 6th July

 

9am ish

 

10am – 2.30

Host families will deliver the children to Silverpark

 

Camogie and Hurling B matches take place in  Silverpark. Kilmacud Crokes, Castleknock, Kilmessan and Inagh/Kilnamona (Clare) for Camogie and Kilmacud Crokes B, Buncrana, Na Fianna and  Roscommon club for hurling

 

Tea, Coffee, Sandwiches, Cakes, buns will all be served to players, mentors and supporters.

 

We require each family to make sandwiches/cakes and bring them along for this. We will contact you nearer to time to confirm what you might bring.

 

2.30/3pm

All players back to host families for dinner.

 

Feed your visitors dinner.

 

 

Things from here on depend on how teams do. Whether they get to semifinals or not. The Camogie semis are in St. Judes in Templeogue. If Kilmessan get to semis we will go and support. Likewise if we get to semis they will support us. The hurlers will be doing the same with their visitors.

 

Alternatively there will be a B hurling semifinal taking place at 7pm in Glenalbyn which we can gather and watch.

 

 

 

8pm /8.30pm

BBQ in the club with an X Factor type event with the 4 boys and 2 girls teams competing to have the best Team Song.

This will be followed by a disco and then off home to host families b 10.30/11pm ish.

Need the girls to compose team song.

 

Parents required to help serve BBQ and with stewarding/social organizing.

Sat 7th July

Teams assemble in the club and head off on their buses to the finals in Croke Park – if attending.

 



Tagging
