Under 13 Team 2014

Girls born in 2001 form our U13 team in 2014.

We currently have just over 30 girls who play on the team and about half a dozen parents who help out on a weekly basis to help us keep things running smoothly. The girls have a mix of skills and a range of hurling experience including some who have only taken up the sport in the last year as well as others who have been playing camogie with us since they were Under 5’s!

While we like to achieve the best results we can every time we take to the field to play an opposing team, coaching at this age group is still aiming for a blend of having fun playing camogie and fundamental skills development.

We train a couple of times a week, take part in the Dublin competitions, and try to arrange a couple of trips down the country to play teams from outside the city during the year. New players are always very welcome.

For Summer 2014, the girls train on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM on the upper pitch in Deerpark, and on Sunday evenings at 6 PM in Glenalbyn on those Sundays where we have not had some other competitive action that day.

New members are always very welcome.

We have two teams entered in the league this year, one in Division 1, and one in Division 4.
