Hard to understand how Crokes lost. Played some great hurling. Interesting stat is that Whitehall only scored 3 times from play (their 3 goals) while we scored 12 times from play, but still lost. Some great performances. Sean and Naomhán lethal in full forward line when they got the ball. Pity we didn’t get more ball in, especially in first 15 mins of second half. Cillian, Darren and Gary all played well and got on the score sheet, while Chris made a big difference when moved to midfield for the last 10 minutes. Behind them the half back line was excellent, with Alan in particular having his best game in a long time, and Cillian Caffrey clearing a lot of ball.

Sean narrowly wide with goal effort and then same player almost put Naomhán through for what would have been certain goal. Crokes now rampant.
