Dublin on their way to a Minor Final
Body
Today Dublin made their way to Ballymahon in Longford to meet Connaught Champions Galway. By the time the match began the early morning sunshine and warmth was replaced by heavy showers and wet and slippery conditions. Galway started well with the Galway forwards running at the Dublin defence and scoring an early goal. The Galway attack was relentless and by half time Dublin trailed 3G 5pts to 1G 5pts. Early in the 2nd half Galway tacked on 3 more points and all appeared lost. Dublin through some well made substitutions and sheer stamina and persistence began to claw back scores until they were within a mere 3 pts of their opponents. Dublin could seem to do no wrong and went on to finish out the game winners by 6 points.Dublin 7G 5pts Galway 3G 11pts
Well done to Aoife Gallagher and Ciara Williams who represented Crokes with a fine display today.
