Mt Anville & Sc San Treasa take home the Cups!

The Annual Primary School Camogie Blitz was held today, 14th June for the most part in dry weather. The rain only put in it's unwelcome appearance just before the final.

Fifteen teams from five different schools took part in the blitz which has become a highlight in the calendar of Kilmacud Crokes Camogie.  Eight teams took part in the Junior section (2nd,3rd and 4th classes) and seven teams took part in the Senior section (5th & 6th classes).  Schools taking part included Scoil San Treasa, Our Lady's Grove, Mount Anville, Hollypark and Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille.

The Junior Final was contested by Mount Anville and Hollypark and the Senior Final featured Scoil San Treasa and Hollypark.  Unfortunately for Hollypark, they were defeated in both finals. The Senior Cup returned to Mount Merrion with Scoil San Treasa while Mount Anville brought the Junior Cup home to their school for the first time.
