Our U8s Girls made us very proud today...read on...

On what felt like the wettest morning in a long time, the U8's welcomed St Anne's, Stars of Erin and Bray Emmets to Pairc De Burca for the second game in the Go Game campaign (Sunday 12th April 2015). We had 40 enthusiastic girls, making up four teams, who braved the elements. There was, between the four clubs, a great turn-out of parents who encouraged the girls from start to finish. The conditions did not lend themselves to flowing football, but the girls showed real grit and determination in every match. While it's probably fair to say that everybody, players, parents and coaches, were happy to hear the final whistle, it was another great outing for the future stars of the club.
