ALL IRELAND CHAMPS AT CROKES
A crowd of several thousand ecstatic fans from Crokes welcomed the newly crowned All Ireland Champions on a memorable night at the Club Fri 23rd Sept.
Our Chairman handed over to Dublin Manager Pat Gilroy who introduced all the players. The excitement was palpable and each and every player was greeted with rousing cheers. The players spent plenty of time mingling with the crowd and The Sam Maguire was in huge demand. Rumour has that a few of the players are suffering from writers cramp after autographing everything from scraps of paper, All Ireland tickets, balls, shirts, you name it.
It proved a wonderful opportunity for all our youngsters (and not so young!) to meet the stars and also get photographs taken.
