CONOR DEEGAN ANNOUNCED AS THE NEW SENIOR FOOTBALL MANAGER
Kilmacud Crokes announce that Conor Deegan takes over as Kilmacud senior football manager
Kilmacud Crokes will be managed by one of their former senior stars, Conor Deegan, in 2014.
The Down native, who won All-Ireland SFC medals with the Mourne County in 1991 and 1994, succeeds former Wicklow senior Hugh Kenny.
Deegan played with Crokes for many years before moving into senior club management and enjoyed terms with Nh Mearnóg, Skerries Harps and Ballyboden St Enda's.
'We are delighted to welcome Conor back to Kilmacud where he will lead a management team made up of former Kilmacud Crokes senior footballers and we wish Conor and all his team every success over the coming years,' said Kilmacud Crokes football chairman Seán Fox.
John Costello, Mick Jones, Michael Leahy and Declan Clancy will act as selectors with Deegan as manager.
