Best wishes from everyone in Kilmacud Crokes to our Senior football squad and management as they take on Ballymun Kickhams in the Dublin Final on Monday next. Most would prefer to have this showcase event staged on a Sunday afternoon as was the case in 2010 when we beat Brigids in a wonderful setting (see pics in prev post). However, "we are where we are" and all is now set for this always-special event on Monday at 7.45pm. The thumbnail pic accompanying this post shows Darren Magee celebrating after the final whistle in 2010 with Pat Burke. We are especially pleased that Darren, who was seriously injured then, is back centre-stage having recovered over recent months to his customary influential self! (Read article here)

New manager, Hugh Kenny, and the lads have reached the final despite the intense level of effort required throughout October and a high injury toll. Now, Adrian Morrissey has the distinction of leading the Crokes out in Parnell Park as they strive to join their hurling colleagues as Dublin Champions - what a special club double that would be! We wonder if perhaps he had such a premonition when he chatted with Niall Corcoran and Marty Morrissey at our Féile launch last June.   1. Any club members/former members, whether abroad or simply cant make it to the game, can Listen Live on www.dublincityfm.ie
  2. The buses being laid on for young members are now fully booked - see our Juveniles site (www.crokes4kidz.com)
  3. Get your match ticket in advance and save money! Club members who purchase their tickets online at http://gaa.tickets.ie can avail of a special price of €12 for the stand (€15 on the day) and €10 for the Terrace (€13 on the day). These tickets must be printed at home and brought to ticket stiles on match day. They can also be bought in a few designated shops e.g.
