GANT FASHION SHOW REPORT & REMINDER OF VOUCHER EXPIRY DATE

Emma Darby would like to thank all involved in the Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club Fashion Show which was staged recently in conjunction with Gant, Dundrum Town Centre. The night was a huge success and over €2,000 was raised for Kilmacud Crokes Ladies and Mens Football.

Emma also wishes to remind those who attended and contributed to the fashion show, that the €25 giftcard which they received on the night expires on the 20th June 2010 so ..... hurry on down to Dundrum!!

It was a fantastic night on 26th March in Glenalbyn with 10 Men and 10 Ladies strutting their stuff on the catwalk showcasing GANT Dundrum Town Centre Spring/Summer Collection to a large, enthusiastic audience.   Models were our own Ladies Football, Mens Football, Hurling and Tennis members and all looked as if they were born to be on the catwalk but hopefully will continue managing/playing with their teams!!

GANT DundrumCentre, under the expert guidance of Emma Darby and her crew, stage-managed the models, provided complimentary wine and goodie bags to everyone in the audience and the night went without a hitch or a glitch.  Louis Copeland was in attendance to judge the Best Dressed Lady, Patricia Martin, and the Best Dressed Man, Paul Dowling, who both received a prize from GANT. 

Kilmacud Crokes gear was also modelled sportingly by eight of our Juvenile members and many thanks to them for taking part and to Kilmacud Crokes Gear Shop, managed by Jean Carr, for dressing our younger models on the night.

MC was local school teacher Moira Sheehy who was excellent in her role as was auctioneer extraordinaire, Brendan Carberry, who almost sold the models!!  Ruth Rutledge provided the music to create a magical haute couture atmosphere.

So a great social night and a special thanks to all who contributed to its success; to our Auction Sponsors, John Coogan of Philips, Peter Ward and GANT and Ken Kelly for raffle prizes.  A special thanks goes to all our models and, especially, to Emma Darby of GANT.
