Good Luck Paddy and all the Lads !
The stage is set for a great match in Mullingar tomorrow (2.30pm). After such miserable weather and all the recessionary talk recently, there are expectations of a fine day both on and off the pitch. This promises to be a great day for both clubs who are privileged to represent their provinces at the penultimate stage of the competition. Hopefully, our boys can do the business but it won't be easy. They are up against a fine Corofin team; respected friends from their great Kilmacud Sevens victories in 1999 and 2004 (some photos here to jog the memory!).
All in Kilmacud have their own passionate views about our chances and there is no shortage of "expert" opinion. Former Corofin and Galway great, Ray Silke, provides a balanced and insightful analysis from the Galway perspective in his 'Galway Advertiser' article at this link.
Most of the difficult preparatory work has now been done by the players and management so it's up to us, the supporters to ensure we do our bit. Do try to get to Mullingar by 2pm and wear your colours with pride. Here's to a wonderful, noisy day and a match worthy of the occasion - go for it boys and we'll see ye back in Glenalbyn come what may!!
P.S. don't forget to take loads of photos and submit them for publication here via the 'Submit Content' link at bottom-leftof this screen!
