KILMACUD AT THE CENTRE OF THE "DUB HUB"

Body

Following the success of the IrishTV live extravaganza on Thursday night, the FM104 live broadcast of the Vodafone "Dub Hub" programme from Kilmacud Crokes tonight provided a great start to a busy All Irl weekend!  Jason Sherlock chaired the panel discussion on the big game which featured regular contributors Cian Murphy, Conor Mortimer and Paul Curran.  Kilmacud's Johnny Magee, sporting a new hirsuite image, shared his views from the audience - his legendary status within Dublin GAA ranks is clearly undiminished!  Tom Mannion, father of young Paul and a reluctant Dub at this stage, was also present to provide an inside track on his son's meteoric rise in the Dublin colours!

Leo Donovan, CEO of Kilmacud's new club sponsor WEEE Ireland, clearly enjoyed the event.  Another happy man was clubman John Joe Young, of Strictly Come Dancing fame, who was the lucky winner of the two All Ireland tickets on offer in the draw.  Other prizes wers snapped up by members of the audience, including local favourite Vinny Patterson.

Some photos from the night are on view at this link.  As the countdown to Sunday continues, tomorrow's FBD Sevens event takes centre stage with another fantastic exhibition of football guaranteed at the four venues involved.  I guess if Carlsberg did GAA weeks they might have done one like this one!!
