MEET YOUR NEW FOOTBALL COMMITTEE (2013-14)

At tonight's Football Section AGM a new era was ushered in with a brand new cast taking over the reins as per table below.  Birthday boy, Seán Fox, paid tribute to the outgoing committee and to the many committees and volunteers from previous eras that have made Kilmacud the great club it now is.  He signalled his intent to encourage inputs from all of those, past and present, that still wish to make a contribution - all doors remain open!  With the outgoing Chairman (John Shovlin), Secretary (Joan Gallagher), Treasurer (Robbie Kelleher) and long-serving Board Delegate (Martin Glynn) stepping down the new, much smaller committee has a fresh look to it but it's certainly not short on experience.  Seán himself has been in the club for over 40 years, including various committee roles; Martin Johnson has had a previous stint as Secretary, and other members are similarly well-versed in club and committee life.

Club Chairman, Kevin Foley, addressed the meeting and provided a synopsis of various initiatives underway at Executive level - more on these very soon.
