PAUL MANNION DEPARTS FOR CHINA
Paul Mannion Departs for China
The club would like to wish Paul Mannion the best of luck in his studies in China for the forthcoming year. Paul, a third year student of International Commerce at UCD departed for Beijing, China on Wednesday 10th September to spend the academic year studying there. He hopes to return in early May 2015.
The player will be missed by the management of club and county, with team manager Conor Deegan saying: 'From a club perspective to lose a player of that quality it's just devastating. It's a very strong word, but from a playing point of view it is devastating, not only that but he is a great lad around the place. He is a huge loss for Dublin obviously also. Paul wasn't too far away this year. It's a loss all round, but look, it's his education and it's only a year and I'm sure he can put it down to experience.'
This season Paul was a key figure as Dublin's under-21 footballers captured the All-Ireland U21FC title.
Go n-eirí an bóthar leat Paul !
