Breaking News from Wed 1 April
The Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Section has determined that our winning potential this season may be greatly improved by a simple adjustment to the size of the hurley used during games. Having considered carefully all aspects of our game - and the relative strengths our teams possess - a special sub-committee has recommended that we marginally increase the size of our sticks, relative to that of the opposition. The new hurleys, which made a brief appearance in Croke Park recently (see below), are to be delivered in a fleet of articulated lorries this evening (Wednesday, 1 April) to the Hurling Arena. They will be tried out in the Under 14s match versus Ballyboden St Endas in Silverpark on Saturday at 3:30pm. Well worth coming out to have a look (and to support the boys!). The Senior Team, who take on St Vincents at 5pm in the same venue, are rumoured to be considering an early adoption of the same strategy and are apparently doing concerted weight training in preparation for the new kit.
