Bulletin: Friends of Dublin Hurling
A reminder to all hurling supporters that FODH intends running a bus to Cork on Sunday February 8th to support Dublin hurlers who are taking on Cork in their first game of the National League. It is vital for Dublin to stay in Division 1 of the National League and hence every game is so important.
We will only run the bus if we have a minimum of 40 supporters. A final decision will be made on the night of Wednesday, 4th February. The cost of the bus is €20 and it will depart Amiens St. Station at 9.00am sharp and the Poitín Stil at 9.30am. The bus will depart Cork thirty minutes after the game and the estimated time of return to Dublin is 9pm.
If you intend travelling contact Michael at 087-2331983 by 5.00pm Wednesday, 4th February. You can also reserve your seat by e-mailing contact details to fodh@eircom.net
Membership
Because the day was so wet and cold it was decided not to sell membership at the recent Walsh Cup game against Kilkenny. However, supporters can renew/sign up for memberships at the NHL game against Galway at Parnell Park on Sunday February 15th. As a current member, please encourage friends and family to become members as we strive to achieve the 1000 member target. Many thanks to all those who have already signed up or renewed membership.
Dublin hurling supporters wish a speedy recovery to Tommy Somers who received a bad injury in the Kilkenny game.
AGM
The Friends of Dublin Hurling AGM will take place at Parnell Park on Monday February 16th at 8.00pm sharp. We would be delighted to hear your comments and suggestions. The meeting will be finished by 9.30pm.
