A Chairde,
On Saturday the 5th of September 2009 Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Section will host the 36th All Ireland Sevens tournament. We kindly request your advertising support for our colour programme of the day’s events. The event forms an integral part of the All Ireland Hurling weekend. As an amateur sporting club we are dependent on fund raising to run our activities and in the current economic climate we require your support more than ever.
Kilmacud and Dublin Hurling is on an exciting journey. This is an ideal opportunity for your company to engage in the community and do your part for the development of Hurling in Dublin. Examples of progress by Kilmacud Crokes & Dublin in the last year include:
ü Dublin has reached senior and U21 Leinster finalists 2009
ü Crokes had 8 players on the Dublin South colleges panel 2008 – Leinster Colleges league winners
ü Crokes senior team reached county final
ü In June 09 Kilmacud Crokes hosted a mini All Ireland tournament for U-6 to U-12 with in excess of 1000 kids participating. Mol on óige agus tiocfaidh sí!
The Strategic plan for hurling in Kilmacud Crokes has seen significant progress in recent times including:
ü Completion of a state of the art hurling arena
ü Provision of a full-time hurling coaching service
ü Development of All-Weather training facilities
These developments along with the running of all club teams (70+ teams of all ages and abilities) require significant resources – both human and financial. Our member’s ongoing voluntary contributions are the basis for the adventurous developments at the club. Funding support from organisations like yours is central to the continued successful execution of the Kilmacud Crokes Strategic Hurling plan.
This year on the Saturday 5th September over seventy teams will participate in the Sevens tournament. We are again producing an A4 colour programme of the day’s events and will have a print run of over 3,000 programmes. If you are not personally in a position to place an advert, perhaps you may know of someone within your immediate circle that might. The advert size options and related rates are outlined hereunder and have been adjusted downwards from last year to reflect economic climate. Your support is genuinely appreciated. If you do wish to place an advert, please contact the undersigned at 087-2527281 or by e-mail at michael@bdassociates.ie All adverts to be in by August 20th at very latest to facilitate editing, printing etc. Early notification of your intention to place an advert would be greatly appreciated!
