Senior B's lose out out to St Patricks

This Division 2 league match was played in lovely weather conditions in Silverpark on Sunday 27th May 2012.

It was a keenly fought encounter and the result was in doubt right up to the end.  A late penalty decision against us - which looked a great tackle by Niall Lillis - was the difference between the sides, but nevertheless Crokes battled until the final whistle and at least deserved a share of the points. Crokes led by the slender margin of 1 point at half-time, on a score line of 0-06 to 0-05.

The second half continued like the first - with both teams fighting for supremacy - but it just wasn’t to be.

Best for Crokes were Niall Lillis, Damian Byrne, Donal mcGovern, Shane McNicholas, Robert Murphy and Tom Clarke.
