Stormy challenge for Seniors
Rain holds off but wind dictates play v Carnmore
The senior challenge match agaiinst Carnmore of Galway was switched from Páirc de Búrca to the Castle Pitch in UCD on Sunday 14 April 2013. High winds and heavy rain was forecast and, although the rain only made very sporadic and brief appearances, at times the wind reached almost gale force levels. This made for difficult playing conditions and it was a case of who could score most with the aid of the wind. The honours went marginally to the visitors in the first half, while Crokes came back strong after the short whistle.
The team showed continued progress, exemplified by some excellent performances by the younger members of the panel.
Next up for the Seniors is Faughs on Saturday 20 April (6pm in Páirc de Búrca) in the League
